With over 100 scores and countless awards, he has written film music history and, at the same time, secured a firm place in the contemporary music world as a composer, conductor and pianist with his symphonic works. In Autumn 2026, Joe Hisaishi finally returns to Europe. Lucky for us, his World Dream Tour with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will take him to the KKL in Lucerne! As a conductor and soloist on the piano, the Japanese grand seigneur brings his new suite of the Oscar-winning Studio Ghibli film «The Boy and the Heron», as well as the European premiere of his newly-composed Concerto for Orchestra.
